Chung Cheng Armed Forces Preparatory School claimed today (16^th), Student Chen and Student Lou from the second grade hit each other after the dispute, and it caused Student Lou to have upper lip laceration. They went back to the classroom after being persuaded by other students to make peace. However, Student Lou picked up a brick on the grass outside the classroom to hit the back of head of Student Chen and caused him to be in a coma and fall on the ground. After receiving the report from other student, the brigade immediately sent these two students to National Army Kaohsiung General Hospital for emergency treatment. The school also preserved the on-site evidence and informed the post station to make the further investigation and clarify the case.

After the case, Minister Yan was concerned about it very much and never allowed violence to happen in the school again. This case would be handled in accordance with the law and no quarter would be given. General Lee, Chief of Staff also brought the special team from Office of the Inspector General to make an investigation and visit the injured students. The responsibilities of the delinquent members would be reviewed, and the students’ counseling and emotional management should be strengthened to prevent from the occurrence of similar accidents again.
